Our fee-based service can provide you the level of assistance that you need. We charge $35 CDN per hour and can assist you through:
General Consultation - recommendations on itinerary planning or suggestions on how to revise your plan to make for a more enjoyable trip. You may find general consultation helpful prior to booking your flights so that you can make good choices when planning your itinerary. We will work with you and share our knowledge on train travel and/or car rentals and things to see and do in a particular area. Provide general tips for those travelers not familiar with the country or of a particular region. . Tell us the number of days you will be traveling including the days you will arrive and depart. How many people will be traveling and the number of children and ages? How old are you? Locations you would like to visit? The more information you give us upfront, the less time emailing back and forth. (Minimum 1 hour)
Trip Planning and Booking – All of the particulars under the general consultation. Research and recommend hotels for the areas that you require. You book the hotels or let us do it for you and reap the benefits of the rapport we have developed with the innkeepers. Recommend train times around transfer pick-ups & drop-offs, car rentals or simply “Italian time”. Booking activities that you would like to do, for example: private guided tours, cooking classes, arranging transfers to or from your hotel or train station to another location.
Upfront travel expenses, prepayments or fares are charged to your credit card & if necessary mailed to the vendor in the country you are visiting. The rest is a pay as you go.
The amount you pay for this service depends on how in-depth and the number of places and parties traveling. A package of information regarding the areas you will be seeing will be mailed to you. Tell us the number of days you will be traveling including the day you will arrive and depart. How many people will be traveling and the number of children and ages? What is your age? Locations you would like to visit? How much you have budgeted for hotel rooms? What activities you would like to do while traveling? And any other information that you think will be helpful.
We value our ongoing relationships and repeat customers will receive a 10% discount.
Your Flights and Travel Times
You will most likely already have the dates for your trip planned and typically have booked your flights. You might want to consult, prior to making the final booking, about the days of departure and timeframes in order to make the most out of your itinerary. If you are traveling on points your airline will want you to book your own redemptions. If buying a ticket most people search the web for the best deal and are proud of the price point obtained. We do not sell airline tickets although we can assist with booking them if required. We will do train bookings within Italy; however, we do not make car rental arrangements. We can provide you with some companies to compare rental agreements and prices.

This site includes a form to prompt you to provide information that will help in a consultation or planning of your trip. The most information you can provide helps to ensure you are assisting you in the most meaningful way. This no-obligation form allows us to determine what might be the best service for you & we will quote a fixed price or approximate number of hours required to provide the service you are wanting.
We will Provide to You
The majority of our communications will be by e-mail providing you a printed record of your requests and the consultation and arrangements made – there is a lot of information to be processed and having it all in writing is comfort we will both appreciate. If required we will call you to confirm information or you can call us if you have questions or want to discuss further options. If you are traveling with a group, we would like to deal with one designated person who will act as the “go between” the us and the other members of their party. If you just want a consultation, we will provide you with a recommended itinerary and other information that may be important to your trip. Based on the service you require, will determine the amount of printed documentation that will be provided. If we are providing the concierge service where we do all the bookings, a summary of email confirmations is provided with contact names and pertinent information on sights to see, transportation in the larger cities. a list or recommended restaurants and pre-booked restaurant reservations if required. Written confirmations and contact names for specific events are also provided. You tell us how much you want us to do for you or we can give you an idea at the onset what might be most beneficial.
