We had an absolutely fabulous vacation! We cannot thank you enough and had a toast in your honor on our last day. The planning that you did for us, made it so simple. We could spend all of our time just enjoying our trip. When people ask what we liked the most, it is so hard to say because it was all wonderful and the experiences so different.
We have learned that we love the cities. We walked for hours and just enjoy the energy and atmosphere. Tuscany/Umbria was great (we put 800 km on in 4 days). We especially liked Orvieto and also went to Assisi which we really enjoyed as well. The Amalfi Coast! What can we say. We were welcomed like friends. We were sad to leave and let them know that we would be back. (Nicola wanted me to say hi to you and Glenn for him. He told us that they always have so much fun with you.)
I probably can’t say enough about the impact your planning had on our trip. It was a springboard for us to work from. As I mentioned before, you took all of the guess work out for us and we could just enjoy. Everything went so smoothly. We just had to turn up. All of the tips that you provided for eating, site seeing, language survival, and transportation were invaluable. We packed so much into the short time that we had. When we left, we were talking about what we want to do next time—it will definitely include the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Florence, Tuscany/Umbria so it will obviously have to be longer, because we want to see more….

Karen was instrumental in planning our first trip to Europe, Italy, France, and England. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and were both excited and overwhelmed with the choices and details. Tim and I send a big thank you for all of your help with our trip to the Amalfi Coast. We returned last evening (reluctantly!) after a wonderful week on the Amalfi Coast. As you promised, the accommodations were superb...we loved the view, the staff, the location and the food. We never would have found such a gem without your assistance. We followed your suggested itinerary, transportation and lunch spot recommendations and couldn't have been more pleased. The limo transfers to and from Naples were flawless. The hotel in Naples was lovely and located close to many of the tourist attractions. All in all, we had the perfect 25th wedding anniversary celebration trip. Even the weather was divine.
We can't thank you enough. We'll sing your praises to all we know in this neck of the woods and will contact you again for any future travel in Italy or France. All best,

I had a fabulous trip and everything you recommended was wonderful. I immediately fell in love with Amalfi and my only disappointment was not having more time there. The hotel in Amalfi was amazing and I would go back to stay there in a heartbeat. All my trains reservations were in order and I had no problem finding out where to go to get my connections. I wasn’t in love with Rome as much as Florence but still had a nice time that last night.
I would recommend you to anyone traveling to Italy.

Our trip was great. The car recommendation was fine; we had everything waiting for us.
Our accommodation in Biaritzz at the Radisson was just fine, it was as you might expect. Good amenities, location, rooms were alright, not really that “special” though. However, both our other hotels in Tours and Paris were spectacular. The Chateau in Tours was unbelievable, the food amazing, the grounds beautiful, and the service, rooms, excellent. Our Paris Hotel was also excellent. Three blocks from the Champs D’Elysees and very clean, modern, updated, spacious and the service great. All front desk people spoke English too, very helpful.
I have passed your name onto a friend of mine, J Stuart, you will likely hear from her. She is going to France next summer. Although our hotel in Biariitz wasn’t perfect, it was good value and the surf town is so charming and the beach so fun for families. Thanks,

Our trip was wonderful and I want to thank you for all the good advice and pointers that you provided.
The hotel was a charming and delightful place, stunning views and good dinners. We really looked forward to coming home to our hotel, after a day of touring the area or just sitting around when the sun encouraged us to stay and enjoy the view. It was good and predictable, a quiet dining room with a lovely atmosphere.
The drive to Napoli was first class. The limo company you arranged did a great job, a fantastic car, more like a limo that glides across the mountain range.

The planning was impecable; the details amazing and the trips ones which we will remember forever. You're knowledge of both Italy and France is incredible and it became even more apparent when you were able to direct us to the best parking lot in one of the small towns. Some of the "jewels" we've experienced thanks to your expertise are Sperlonga, St. Paul de Vence, Le Hameau, Otranto, San Michele, Arathena Rocks, Rome (of course) and so much more. Would like to thank you for the advice given as it helped immensely in choosing a place to stay and also places of interest to see. We took the trip to Capri - lovely but too many tourists. Without your help we would have had to take pot luck and I would imagine this could be a trap for the unweary. After booking the San Michelle we left NZ feeling quite confident with your help we had made the right choice. I just loved the San Michelle and Nicol and his family were congenial hosts. The view from our balcony was just a dream - the sunrises and sunsets out of this world. Wow factor indeed!!!!!
